Changes to our Existing Savings Accounts

Changes to our accounts

We're making changes to account names and conditions to help us offer a simpler range of savings accounts and make it easier for you to manage your savings.

We will be changing some of our accounts over the coming months. The changes and when they will happen will vary depending on your account.

We know that you sometimes need all the detail about an account you already hold with us. For details about how your account works, take a look at the BM General Savings Conditions (PDF).

The current interest rates for your savings accounts can be seen on our interest rates page.

You will have received a letter outlining the details of the changes in recent months. Along with this, you will have also received new terms and conditions.

Gross rate means that we will not deduct tax automatically from your interest. You are responsible for paying any tax due to HM Revenue and Customs.

AER means Annual Equivalent Rate. AER illustrates what your interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded each year and allows you to easily compare different offers.
